I think all the housemates were shocked that James nominated Austin when they've been best buddies throughout the whole series. Yes I can understand why James felt he needed to, as a friend, tell Austin he was going too far with Janice but I don't get why he felt he needed to nominate him when he's apparently the closest person to him in there? I mean that he took it upon himself to punish his friend on someone elses behalf I suppose it depends on how you view things like this. For me loyalty to my friend would top punishing them for how they're treating someone else. It looks bad on james I think and I think the other HMs are slightly wary of him because of it eventhough they might have wanted Austin up anyway
