Different situation though. Katie Hopkins was topping the polls cause so many people hated Perez. And vice versa, but to a lesser extent.

After Perez left, the situation changed completely (even though it was just 2 days, but still it´s a lifetime in voting sense).

In the end it came down to fans trying to stop a Hoppo win and voted for the one who people thought had the superior fan base (in terms of size) and that combined with KP´s huge fan base was enough for a win.

It came between them also because KP and KH had a mini rivalry going on.

This time in the final, there is no such thing really and everyone is pretty much friends everyone.
