No I haven't lol I've only enjoyed two seasons of regular BB of all five (BB13 and BB14) whereas I've enjoyed all C5 CBB's to some extent bar maybe CBB8 and CBB11

I'm probably the same, the point is they put way more effort into CBB than they do the civilian show because they're obsessed with it, because they don't care about BB, and because they eventually want an excuse to axe it

Their constant pimping of CBB since 2011 has worked on convincing so many life long fans it's the better show, and it's all so transparent

Well it is a better show now but that's their fault

That's the point though, it's a better show on purpose because they pump more money, more effort and more promotion into it. C5's obsession with CBB couldn't be more transparent and it has been since they acquired it in 2011

And now sadly it has worked on convincing a lot of people that the civilian format isn't as good (when it's what the entire show is about), and even worse, that it should be axed

Even outside of the twists amd production though CBB is better and has more entertaining housemates. I don't think they purposely try and cast a crap house for normal BB.

The casts of 13/14/15 were pretty good IMO and just as good as a lot of the CBB's. They just don't put any effort it and they barely do any promotion whatsoever, no live feed, no vote to save for civilian, two CBB's a year, the list goes on. Their endless obsession with the celebrity series is so ****ing irritating and even worse it has now convinced so many people that it's better than the format that began the franchise in the first place.

A lot of the CBB's have been more entertaining yes, but putting complete strangers in a house for three months will always be a better format idea than celebrities for one month. We have enough of a celebrity obsessed culture as it is, Big Brother is one of the few shows remaining where civilians get to take part and that's being dismantled and demeaned year after year

C5 know exactly what they are doing, and it's worked

I agree with a lot of what you're saying Jack.

I'll always be more loyal to Civilian BB over CBB, but that's because I prefer Civilian Reality Shows over Celeb ones anyway.
