some of them don't seem remorseful at all, where as others look ashamed by lying etc. so i guess it varies

Oh yeah there are definitely ones that do it just for the kicks and because they think it's funny to try and trick people, those ones I don't like, I can sort of understand people doing it for other reasons though.
