Not totally, whenever I get an infraction (been a while ) I just see what it was for and not use particular words/phrases again, but I never change the way I post because I have no faults.

As it stands right now, I'd say everything is running perfectly fine and many posts in this thread are just throwing toys out of the pram.

The only criticism I could offer to this whole whoo-ha is maybe offering a bit of detail to warnings/infractions instead of "please stop this" with the post being private...but this maybe nonsense in itself because I can't remember if once they expire the post linked to the rule break disappears .

And finally in response to the OP, I generally don't alter my posts to avoid infractions but like if I'm being told to not post too many gifs in the BB section, I'll not.

To answer the original question I don't necessarily change the way I post but if I get infracted then I'll tone it down. Although most of my infractions have to do with gif spamming so it's easy to just tone that down

There was 4 other people made mod at the same time as me. I don't think we ever had a mod who was elected by the forum though unless I have some serious amnesia?
