I don't mean his visit I mean was the bomb going off in sharm a mistake? If Russians have been said to be the target then why was it not detonated there... not that it should have, it just seems an odd place.

I doubt it was a mistake, it might have detonated early though. They obviously made it easy for them at Sharm, its win win for the terrorists a plane load of Russians killed, point made, and Egyptian tourism in disarray just like Tunisia.
