I think the crime that these five are alleged to have committed is absolutely horrific and if they are found guilty then all of them should be dealt with. But it is absolutely unfair to send back all of the syrian refugees we have taken on the basis of a crime they did not commit.

My reference to The Sun here was pointing out that they are a racist newspaper, whether it is clear at first glance or not. Throughout the 'migrant crisis' we have been seeing on the news, they have been printing constant opposition to us taking in refugees who flee war. If you have any doubts as to whether or not they are racist - you are free to take a look at Katie Hopkins' article for them where she described her view that we should use gunships on these people. Absolutely heartless.

That's irrelevant. If five english men committed rape in syria, then those five english men should face the punishment there and them alone. Your comparison is illogical, because in this hypothetical situation they are not calling for all english people to be 'sent back'.. or in the case of Syria's preferred punishment, as you put it, would be killed.

But just to make it clear, I am not a supporter of the death penalty and I think it should be internationally outlawed on the basis that it infringes upon human rights.

Its not only tragic that people make comments like hers, its sickening.

What people need to realise is, these rapists didn't rape this girl because they are Syrian, they raped her because they are rapists.

Yes but because there not British they should be sent out of the country and not allowed back.

If someone gets caught for committing a crime in this country, they will serve their time in this country. At the end of their sentence, they may well be deported.

Poles Mariusz Krezolek and Magdelena Luczak are serving life behind bars for the savage murder of her four-year-old son Daniel Pelka in Coventry.
The couple, who moved to Britain from Poland, tortured and killed Daniel in a campaign of cruelty that culminated in his death from a head injury in March 2012.

He died completely emaciated, locked in a cold room on a soiled mattress.
In horrific court testimony, it was revealed that Luczak, 28, and her 34-year-old partner Krezolek starved Daniel, force-fed him salt and held the child under water.

Sadistic Krezolek had already been jailed in this country three times and arrested at least six times for offences including assault and burglary. But despite his serial offending, he was never put on a plane back to Poland – leaving him free to kill Daniel.

In August last year, the couple were both sentenced to a minimum of 30 years, and are eligible for the compulsory prisoner transfer agreement.
Luczak’s term is one of the longest jail terms given to a woman in Britain, the same as child-killer Beverley Allitt and exceeded by only Rose West and Myra Hindley.

The cost of keeping Krezolek and Luczak locked up in a British jail is around Ł80,000 a year. If both serve their entire sentence here, the bill to the taxpayer will be a minimum of Ł2.4million.
Yesterday, it emerged they had been refused leave to appeal. Lawyers say they plan to continue their legal fight.
