I agree with this 100%! Being truly racist is such a serious thing, that when the term is thrown around at anyone because issues of race are brought into a discussion, it, well as Ammi says, dilutes the meaning of the word and renders it meaningless. As a big gayer

I don't mind if someone wants to have a laugh at my expense, or joke about my sexuality etc, if that's all it is. It's about intent. So not necessarily what is said but what is meant by it. I suppose it's just that on a forum, when you aren't face to face with the person, it's more difficult to express the meaning behind your words which is why things can often be misinterpreted?
