Meh. My take on it is that the official powers-that-be have been trying to combat this middle eastern terrorist threat for decades now and have achieved precisely jack ****. Yes, before you start, they have obviously stopped many potential attacks before they happened, I appreciate that, but are we any closer to a solution? An end? No... We're further than ever, it's rising damp that's only getting worse and can only be painted over so many times.

So, I say let whoever wants to have a go, have a go at alternative methods. It may not work but that's irrelevant. What western governments and military forces are doing isn't working either .
