That's very true; he was banging on about Mexicans and others from south of the US border long before he turned his gaze to Muslims... who he knows make a better club to bash people with because there is a risk to their sense of security and safety, as opposed to his economic reasons for not wanting other migrants. Basically, it seems a lot like Mr Chrump just has an overall agenda to close the borders of the US, just because that's how he wants it to be regardless of what else is going on, and ISIS / terrorism is a good platform for him to exploit to gather support.
There are, of course, political groups in every country doing the same thing... talking a lot about Terrorism as a reason for tightening borders and becoming more insular... but you don't have to look back very far to realise that they've been saying the same things with different justifications all along.
