Quite right. You're backwards and forward to New York, you know how strict the USA is with everyone. I'm always kept waiting at immigration because I have quite a few Middle Eastern stamps in my passport. They're thorough, unlike the UK. If they've stopped these people going in I'm confident there's a good reason.
