Cause the whole Mom Dad storyline and how they relate to their daughter seems to me would play differently in my head today
We've recently watched the whole of Pretty Little Liars on Netflix (which is ridiculous but oddly enjoyable in a soapy way), having never watched it before, and far too often found ourselves agreeing with the parents on certain things where I'm sure youre supposed to be siding with the girls...

Like the one shagging her teacher! He's in his mid 20's and she's only 16! I'm sure it's supposed to be some great forbidden love thing but we were like "No! Get your grubby hands off her, she's JUST A BABY you pervert! You have a duty of care!!" ... and when her parents find out and are horrified we were like "Quite right! Get him put in jail, dirty paedo..."

Srsly she's the youngest looking / babyfaced and most childlike seeming of all of them. It's quite disturbing.
