It bugs me that we had Kat and Alfie in the show having crappy storylines that dragged on for months and months.

And then when they decide to make them interesting it's in 101 storylines crammed into three weeks before they leave again.

Tbh, I think her death was the making of that storyline.

As much as people whined at the time, it wouldn't be remembered half as well if she hadn't died at the climax of it.

And come to think of it, If Danielle and Ronnie lived happily ever after.. I don't think Ronnie would have been a good character. Even though I wanted her happy etc i think watching her would be boring.

Yeah, I think the miscarriage then the cot death story/baby swap was one step too far. But the Danielle stuff was great for her character.

I remember Samantha Womack getting hate for it by the public, like it's not her fault it's people who make the storyline happen. I actually didn't hate the storyline, it was shocking and one of the most talked about things, which is what soaps want. I felt sorry for her though but she gave a great performance during that storyline. It's funny how her actually having a kid has kind of ruined her character.
