Sorry I think I must be missing something but why exactly was Gemma immune from the task???? She only cut her thumb .... and if she hadn't been being such a kn0b trying to peel potatoes with the biggest knife in the house, that wouldn't have happened.

You are correct, because she DID just that Niamh. I think it was Cherie who pointed out that Gemma 'tested' the knife first within a nano second of picking it up, THEN she lightly cut herself with it. Watch a playback and it is so obvious.

I may be wrong Niamh, but I do, and despite all the media reports of 4 days ago (which all stem from the BB footage) saying that she was "taken to hospital to have stitches after cutting her finger to the bone", I haven't seen any confirmation from BB as to the ACTUAL extent of her cut or whether she did indeed HAVE stitches.

I have had many cuts to my fingers in my years of working and I know that when they were severe enough to warrant stitches, I was not as actively using them as Gemma has so immediately after recediving them.

All very suspect to me.

I think theyre taking the "to the bone" quote from gemma when she said it (jokingly I think) they were laughing at the time, if it was that serious probably wouldn't of but who knows
