It's not down to me to give them a chance.

Outside of watching this show I don't think of them again so there's no feeling for me to contend with.

The relationship is the responsibility of those two people who wouldn't know where to begin working within an adult relationship.

It's my opinion their relationship won't last very long at all, but it's not down to me to "give them a chance", it's not my relationship.
