No we are not forgetting that at all, we don't all do the right thing when we are in the middle of something, his instinct was to remove himself from the situation, when he reflected on it, he quite rightly came to the conclusion that he should have been direct with her, maybe the way she flew at him when he was trying to reason with her during Davidgate was on his mind and He didn't want a repeat performance, Tiffany didn't cover herself in glory backtracking and saying she thought of him as a brother
