I had a completely non-Redemption Island-related (promise) idea for something like this like, a year ago. There'd be a secret, slightly smaller replica of the main house built where the mound used to be. A few days in, four newbies would enter the twin house, then the first five evictees (via vote-to-save) would go straight there too. Eventually, there'd be nine people in each house, and there'd be some sort of competition/vote/both to get four of them into the main house and the other five are evicted for good. Probably over complicated and icr much else but I think I bothered making a logo:

My guess would be that for the main house they've just left the plans the same as the current series (you can clearly see that the kitchen, bedroom, garden & bathroom are the same), so I wouldn't read too far into that. It's good though as it can tell you where some of the parts of the Vaudeville house were - for example, the spare room is where the gym from the CBB12 house was. It also reveals that for some reason they've kept the BB14/15 Diary Room that's upstairs since the layout change for Timebomb.

However, moving over to the new proposals is where things get complicated. I think that the plans show that they are moving the eviction doors over to the extension, as well as there being a possible toilet on the second floor and a bathroom. It also looks like the extension will only be accessed by a corridor, rather than glass doors through to the main house. The layer removal also appears to have given some more details about the eviction set - as previously mentioned the crowd capacity could be up to 500 people and it looks as if they are wanting to construct a 180° curved screen in the new studio. It also appears to confirm that the location of two lighting towers will remain the same, as well as the location of the jib camera. Moreover, it appears that Emma will present from directly in front of the house (similar to the BB11 set-up), rather than between the crowd.

Apart from what I've listed above, I can't really see anything else. We'll just have to wait until the summer to see how these proposals come into play.

Tom - the plans came from the planning documents - the way the PDF is constructed means that under the main outline there is actually the detailed plan. I found it by complete accident last night, spotting it as the PDF was loading and trying to screenshot at the right time.


Anyway, knowing C5 they'll have a "favourites" house and an "extras" house and just stick the HMs they don't like in a second house with no cameras and never show them.

With bigger houses come bigger over the top cheesy edits and x factor style studio / production. After all they'll have more space for the cabaret 'dancers' for evictions and finale shows now
