..I read your link and then followed another link on that site...a really sad read..I don't know how much you read..?..but his killer called the police to report his crime and when they got there, they found a notebook on torture/sex with the various instruments that he had used in the 100plus stabbings/so premeditated...so obviously they took it as vital evidence ..(they thought it was ok to do that because they'd obviously been called out to a crime scene..)...anyways, if he had been tried for 1st degree murder, he would have got the death penalty but because the judge ruled that no search warrant had been obtained first and the notebook had been taken 'illegally', it couldn't be used as evidence of premeditation and was thrown out of court...his lesser charge meant he only served 4yrs in prison for what he did...a seriously disturbed guy...
