I've not seen it for years but I have really fond memories of it, and it was probably my all time favourite final because of the excitement, the fact that any of them could have won, and the culmination of the Jade storyline which was huge that summer (but that's all besides the point really ). Maybe it's not as good if you're comparing it to BB5/BB6 but for it's time it was a brilliant series.

Agree with what you wrote in the spoiler. Fantastic result.

Also the final was fantastic. Atmosphere will never reach those levels again. To think that 10m and a peak of over 11m watched the winners announced is just unimaginable now.
