Again I disagree with Jolan having fake emotions, especially since his "sob story" is so raw as well, losing his mom when she was so young, I have no doubt singing her favourite song would be genuinely emotional

well Jolan's emotions aren't fake, i only want to feel them some more

and i rewatched the love shack battle again, and it was a fun battle, and i really enjoyed Lauren performing that song, her dancing is so funny
