It's not about being right wing or left wing here, it's about getting a message across to the Civilians of these places that if you want to be treated like everybody else then make a stand against your leaders, otherwise you will have an embargo put on you until otherwise.
It might come off as harsh to punish the innocent civilians for what ISIS have done, but the only people that can stop ISIS without more bloodshed at this point is the people living in these areas.
