It's only satisfying when vile players are eliminated due to their own mistakes. There's something special about people playing bad games being eliminated because of their smug sense of security. Exhibit A: Kelsey.
Twists can take out good players, which is obviously bad because it deprives a season of quality gameplay. But it's on the other end of the spectrum also, because it's far less satisfying to see a player you dislike go due to a roll of the dice as opposed to the rest of the house deciding to blindside them.
