In all seriousness, it is a sad situation, but I can only agree with what Eubank Jay Arr said about it; everyone who willingly steps into a fight (organised or otherwise) knows that they are taking a risk with their health, and knows that these things can happen. No one is forced into becoming a boxer, and so, so long as the risks are open and transparent, why on earth would it be "banned"? People should be free to do whatever they want with their bodies, so long as all parties involved are consenting, and there's no risk to any non-consenting party.

There are inherent risks in any physical activity so if you ban this, don't you have to ban everything? Not even just contact sports... there are far more serious injuries in solo activities like rock climbing, or skiing / snowboarding, for example, than there are in contact sports or fights.
