Yeah, and even then acting-wise it wasn't anything special imo.

That scene only caught attention because the Carter's were still new and everyone was still surprised over Danny Dyer playing against type and playing a softie character who accepted his gay son.

The acting/writing really wasn't anything special tbh.

It's weird but Sam Strike matched Maddy Hill better as they seemed like siblings and this new actor matches the actor who plays Lee more.
