I think the prestige is mainly because winning competitions are an integral part of the game. If someone does say 'I won competitions' as a way of justifying their win then it's probably because they're clutching at straws to get people to vote for them.

I think it's quite similar to Survivor in that some people literally won immunity right until the endgame, but weren't awarded the win because utimately they didn't play the actual game as well as their opponent. I think it's Big Brother is very similar in that regard, but I suppose it does vary depending on the situation.

I'd like to think the brothers wouldn't win based on winning comps, especially since the jury have already callled them out for being such dumb players

Hm, I guess you might be right but it's still a decent argument that they were huge threats and managed to keep themselves protected. I still think and hope they won't win but I don't think it's as clear cut now they've won another comp

Brothers wont win against Kelsey because the Jury hate them, which is a shame because they do deserve credit as they entered as a twosome, so had a massive target on their backs but their social game did get them through the first few weeks of the game. Plus they won competitions. They are not the most strategic but neither is Kelsey. Plus Kelsey was all ready evicted.

Tim deserves to win the most though.

The brothers should never have been given power, it went to their head and their delusions came to light. They were in a good spot before but have now played a terrible game (hello, they got ****ing Nikki out because Phil's too xenophobic to think rationally) and I struggle to understand how anyone can think they haven't

Production have made some fatal errors this season, mainly that pathetic pointless roulette crap which robbed us of a rightful Nikki HoH and inadvertently strengthened the brothers position, and switching the DE comps around so that they survived too say what you want about the interference last season but at least it benefited the fan favourites

Because rather than asking Tim to roll over and die for her which she did last night, she should do what she did last week and get him to help her. I mean it is a long shot but there's no reason why they couldn't have worked together and got Tim to try and convince the brothers to make him the voter to ensure Cass goes because Kelsey may vote him out and then Kelsey and Cass will take each other to F2. Tim works the brothers, Cass hangs around Kelsey to make it seem like they're close...it's a big ask but if they could pull it off last week there's no reason why they couldn't again

Plus if it's game then why is she ignoring everyone else too? How is that a strategy? She's not attempted to persuade anyone of anything
