I've clearly got the BBAU bug because I've moved right on to BB4.

Don't see myself speeding through this one as fast, but I said the same about the last two.

Enjoyed that launch! I'm expecting a less scandalous series than BB5 but that's not necessarily a bad thing. Looking forward in particular to experiencing Bree and Ryan as housemates since I'm so familiar with them from co-hosting Friday Night Live from BB5 onwards!

I know a few eviction results and the final result but I don't know the full boot order so I'm gonna make an effort to stay away from spoilery info this time.

You'll probably love it Lostie, most people do, but I personally hated this season. The personalities seemed very manufactured to me compared to seasons before and after this one.

Oh really? I'm gonna be putting it on the backburner a little anyway, just remembered I wanted to watch some old Apprentices I haven't seen when I finished BB5 (and of course there's BBUK starting next week)

I'll still be watching it but at a slower pace probably so if I have any problems with it I'll probably dip in and out.

All except 7-9, its definitely the series I have seen most of. I hope I haven't affected your perception of the season, I'm just a lone dissenter in a sea of proponents. Maybe because, in my opinion, it's sandwiched between the two best seasons of the show I'm overly critical.

Oh no not at all, I myself am highly critical of some very popular BBUK series, it's all subjective really.

Watched a few more episodes last night. I cracked up at a few of them getting deep and talking about personal issues regarding death etc and then Ashalea just pipes up with "Guys, we're in Big Brother and we're talking about death".

Enjoyable first week. This series is less of a livewire than BB5 but that's not really a bad thing as it's still enjoyable in a different way. A fun, lighthearted start with a gradually building tension and dashes of drama here and there, a good mix tbh.

Might put this on hold for a while I think. I'm enjoying it but it's definitely suffering by being watched directly after BB5 which was just brilliant, I think I should wait a little while longer so I can appreciate it in it's own right and not keep comparing it in my head.

I've avoided this thread whilst I've been watching Big Brother 5 but I've just been reading back through Lostie's comments now that I'm almost finishing up. I've got a bit to go before the final, but I highly doubt my opinions of the final three will change in the meantime so here's a series ranking:

My ranking is probably inaccurate as I didn't watch any Uncut (except for the final "best of" one) or Friday Night Live episodes, so Lostie, don't jump down my throat for placing Kate so high! I did skip through a couple of the Nominations episodes too (I wasn't a massive fan of the montages, sometimes I just wanted to get straight to the actual nominations) and some of the Eviction episodes I skipped through.

Glenn's eviction would probably be the highlight, despite how frustrating it was that he didn't seem to take any of the criticism against him into account and even attempted to encourage the audience to cheer him for his treatment of Michelle.

Although I disliked the general theme of the series, it was a good series nevertheless. I'd probably put it on par with Big Brother 7 if not a bit behind. Nadia going into the house was a lovely surprise as I wasn't expecting it, and really made a difference to what could've been quite a lacklustre of a final week.

I'll try and get around to watching Big Brother 10 sometime after I've finished with this series, but I'm back at work on Tuesday so it may be a while yet.

I do wonder if she'd still have received third place if it was a vote to win rather than a vote to evict. Just judging by the audience, she was massively adored in comparison to Tim and Greg who both received pretty half-arsed cheers towards the end.
