So then how do you explain such a large figure for domestic violence on men?

If a woman is no match for a man, why are men victims of domestic violence?

More than 40% of domestic violence victims are male, report reveals

But domestic violence is not exclusively male on female: the ONS statistics for 2011-12 show that while 1.2 million women experienced domestic violence, so too did 800,000 men.
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/men/think...t-of-date.html

1.2m + 800,000 = 2m

2m % 100 = 20,000

20,000 x 40 = 800,000

40% is accurate. And even if it were lower, how can men be the victims of domestic violence if a woman is no match for a man?

This is not my thinking though, this is evidence from the Office for National Statistics. I haven't made it up

I'm not disputing that, but you have said you don't think any woman is a match for a man. How is that possible if men are also domestic violence victims?

So domestic violence is a competition now? We have to compare the damage from victim to victim? You have to pass a certain 'abused' threshold for it to be considered a problem?
