I think it's just the situation I've landed in. Flitting from job to job (previously), being a dark moody Slipknot fan in my late teens early 20's and sitting in my bedroom playing games while others were out in pubs bars and clubs.

Now they're all married with kids.

Like I say, my best friend had kind of a meltdown and wanted to hand the reigns over to the Army but instead handed them over to Joseph Smith and the bishop of his temple. He was a good guy now he's a shadow of who he was.

It's odd. I've got plenty of money and boys toys that we all would have killed for a few years ago. Now the topic of conversation is which huggies are best and how fast their kids are growing and not motorbikes or fast cars or huge tv's and surround sound systems can penetrate the conversation about puke, poo, screaming and how cute they are lol.

..oh, I spent lots of years with Slipknot through the walls of one of my son's bedrooms......I'm not sure that I really got into them, it was a bit too slit your wrists music for me/I just didn't feel the vibe.../SOAD though....

I'm a sarcastic bastard and some people (mostly online) just don't get my humour or, they take me too serious.

I'm not sure what makes me annoying, although I'm sure there are lots of things that do. It's not something I think about too much. Fact is, if people find me annoying, they can move away.

I can be impatient (okay, very impatient)
I get OTT angry
I hold grudges against people i dont trust and i probably will never trust them

I find its more effort to be mean than nice. I have been mean for periods of time but it made me feel ugly inside and it just erodes you.

Of course there are people who take great joy in winding up people or just being mean in general. That says a lot about them. If being bad makes them happy....Imagine what makes them sad? (Given they can feel sadness through their narcissism. And they are narcissits because they feel they have the right to degrade other people because they view them as inferior)

It was just a phase!

Besides, when they got popular I moved on. I identified with them at the time and when I saw seas of slipknot hoodie wearing teens when walking through Manchester I sort of lost that feeling because I didnt feel unique any more lol. Ahh to be a teen, eh?
