'Political Correctness' is only an issue for people with bigoted opinions that want to spout their opinions whilst repressing anyone who thinks differently. Your opinions can be as awful as you want but you can't repress other people's freedom of speech to make it so that you are above criticism.
People have as much right to comment on an opinion as they do to have that opinion in the first place.
