yes, the bay area has the same housing problem, that's why where i live has boomed recently, all the san francisco people are moving to where i live, Oakland. and of course people are complaining about gentrification. but it's just normal people looking for affordable housing. I've been here for 10 years, and when i moved in i was the only white person in my building.
