Default Pulp Fiction

Is anyone else watching this on Channel 5 right now? I'm a big fan of Quentin Tarantino, but there is something especially majestic about this film.

I watched it not long ago but I'm so happy it's on tonight .

Channel 5 are very hit and miss with their films, but they air some real classics.

I would watch it, but for me it'd kinda ruin the effect to have adverts for the likes of Mascara Boys: Sex Me Up in the middle of it :/

Never seen it, but it's on my "to watch" list. I <3 the soundtrack though!

Is it just me who doesn't really love this movie? Like its an alright film and I did prefer it a lot more on my first watch, but it doesn't seem of of had the same effect on me as it has everyone else.

I'm glad this film has a lot of respect on here, and to anyone who wants to watch it - Do it! It's one of those films where you can watch it randomly and it just resonates with you (well it did for me anyway ). I've watched it fully twice (this would by my third but I'm only watching bits and pieces right now), and I still remember that first time like it was yesterday.

Was it because you bought the hype, Armand? I think films that are made out to be the best ever can be underwhelming to this who have high expectations.

Yeah probably this tbh. Like all my friends made it out to be the best thing ever and everyone said I would love it because kill bill was my favourite movie at the time.
Also probably didn't help that the first time I watched was with my roommate and he kept quoting the film as we were watching.

It's a near masterpiece. Massive Tarantino fan here! I love Jackie Brown too, just it's whole vibe and like PF, amazing cast.

Yeah, though I do adore the film, I understand certain people would find it overrated.

I asked my Mum if she ever watched it before because she likes watching films but we don't really discuss films in-depth (especially ones before I was born and particularly love), and she said that she just didn't understand it (not that you didn't).

Ugh, that must've been so annoying. Pet hate of mine.

Woo! I did fall asleep during Jackie Brown though, so I'll have to watch it again properly

I haven't watched (heard of) True Romance. I'm going to have to add it to my watch-list, along with Django Unchained, Death Proof and Jackie Brown.

Both True Romance and Natural Born Killers were written by QT but he sold them to pay for the making of Reservoir Dogs (which I think is really over rated) Django is brilliant, haven't seen Death Proof and Jackie Brown I liked but didn't love
