Oh yes she would if we allowed her but we don't really trust her enough for that, it's so high up.

We don't know if it's a boy or a girl yet, the mother is just a kitten herself so we don't want to tamper with them

You could try to enclose it with chicken wire or something, especially if you're going to have 2 cats now, make a kind of Catio

Yeah, I've been thinking of that, but I'd have to make it quite high too but I don't want to make it an eye sore either since it faces out onto the street.

You could get one of these:

They're relatively cheap (like £29?) - I have one for my Guinea pig and the cage is really quite tall and it has a cover so it might be ideal for you?
