Is anyone else excited for Blair Witch? I wasn't sure about it when I first heard it announced but seeing the reviews it sounds amazing!

If it's anything like the 1999 one then I don't think I'll bother with it as I found that one to be really boring and so overrated.

That's why I wasn't keen when I first heard about it, and usually I'm not swayed by reviews but they've been so good and the way they've been describing it makes it sound like something I'd love, so I'm really excited about it now. I think also, with the general feeling about the original being overrated, it would make reviewers less inclined to talk this one up unless it really warranted it... maybe. I hope anyway

I'm unsure about Blair Witch. The reviews have been strong for it but, judging from the trailer, they've removed all the ambiguity of the original and that was the most interesting part of it.

I watched the trailer and it looks quite good actually. The film poster looks great too. It looks much more intense and action-packed than the original - nothing happened in the first one and it felt more like a bad documentary to me. I'll probably watch it now as it's out in 2 weeks. I tend to take reviews with a pinch of salt too because most of the films I end up enjoying tend to get bad reviews.

Saw House at the End of the Street a few weeks ago, it's not great but Jennifer Lawrence is a good enough excuse to watch it

I watched Chernobyl Diaries the other day and I thought it was ok. It had potential to be really good and the ending was ridiculous lol.

I'm planning to re-watch all of the Scream films when I get the time, but I have to be in the right mood and setting to watch them

Cabin in the Woods not a fan of horrors at all so enjoyed that for its comedy elements (but still quite scary I thought)
