'Mr Farage has long been the face of Ukip and a regular media performer. One of the most regular panelists in history of the BBC Question Time programme, his ubiquity has at times led to Ukip being branded a “one-man band”.

How strange the BBC thrusting this 'one man band' into prominence... :/

would you rather the BBC had ignored the fact that UKIP exists? Were they fighting the last election at multiple constituencies across the UK. Do they have members of the European parliament. If UKIP decided that Nigel would be their spokesman, it's not for the BBC to say they must choose someone else.

Clutching at straws, really.

Of course not nowhere have I suggested that, however the sheer volume of media attention is surprising for a fringe party.
