Tbf, since Pat died it's been lived in by members of her family/close friends like Bianca, Carol who wouldn't have really afforded to decorate or been bothered.
But now's the perfect time to redecorate now that a new family is taking it over.
I just wish someone would take a bulldozer to Tyrone's house on Corrie.
