Put simply - this makes a complete nonsense of all those knee-jerk reaction, doomsday prophecies by some bitterly disappointed 'Bremainers' who were 'wishful thinking'.

Come on, you know it's going to be family hatchbacks...

...Says the guy with two kids in the back of a Golf Plus TDi ...

but it has ample head and leg room and space for a 3rd person to fit comfortably in the back alongside both car seats, goddamnit!!

It's decent enough, got more behind it than a lot of "family cars". The "Plus" is basically a Golf engine in a slightly bigger body (more space in the back, bigger boot, taller, more leg room). Also "reliable" AF; we've had a few minor body niggles (central locking problems has been a big one) but we have never had ANY mechanical problems at all. Ever. Not even a slow start.

...now I just sound like I'm trying to sell a Golf...
