In order to establish that they would have had to contact their lender and ask for a pay-off figure and that could have led to penalties. So she would have had to ask her parents to contact the lender and ask for a settlement figure and then wait till that was given (not quick) and then they would have told her and then she would have given them but that did not happen according to her story.
