You of course you miss the crucial bit - it is a defunct doll whose manufacture was stopped. The message was got and acted upon. Death threats are not justification for some small shop allegedly selling some. Death threats come from bullies and cowards any any justification for such behaviour makes for pretty uncomfortable reading.
As for subjugation - the subjugation of women is current and being dismissed by those who clearly set different values for racism and sexism. Both are illegal and both are wrong.
