The whole case was odd and tragic, but what I found strange was that the Martin family (both of the families) never said anything about hearing a scream, yet the Key family DID hear a bloodcurdling scream. Was it down to timing I wonder?

I guess that it was down to timing seeing as they put the Key family witnessing the person with something on his shoulder around an hour after Mr. Martin noticed that his son went missing.

This did send shivers down my spine, I get the feeling that Dennis was abducted, but it just seems strange to me that there was no apparent movement or noise from behind the bushes when he was taken. The idea of these 'wild people' or hillbilly's isn't that out-there in America, what they would've done with Dennis, or the other children who went missing doesn't bare thinking about.

I found it really strange that the FBI investigator committed suicide, surely if he found out something horrific enough that led him to killing himself he would've revealed it first? Or maybe the idea of it led him to it.

It's really sad that this is being covered up because of the amount of money the park brings to the local community. I don't think one child's life is worth any amount of money, certainly not twelve or however amount that went missing. If they're not dealing with these abductors since the 1960's then surely people will continue to go missing and one day the whole scandal will explode.

One last thought, I thought it was strange that the guy being interviewed would mention the odds of another family by the name of the Martin's coming to join the Martin family. Was he suspect of the other Martin's that they lied about their name to create some fabrication of trust so that they could distract him while the child was abducted, or was it pure coincidence?

Yeah that's what I don't get, it seems odd that no one noticed any movement in the bushes if he was abducted by a person, surely one of the people would see or hear something. The father said he could have thrown a stone at Dennis as he was really close. I'm assuming it would be very difficult to pick up and run away with a child without anyone noticing anything. It would be interesting to see the exact location he disappeared to see how the area maps out.

The suicide is odd, I really do wonder what drove him to it, if he knew what really happened then surely he would reveal some of it before killing himself.

The thought of it being a huge cover up is ever so sad, imagining a loved one disappearing and people knowing what really happened but not knowing yourself is scary and worrying.

If it's supposedly these "wild men" then why don't they get rid them of all, I don't think that there not controllable, surely the army could easily get them out of the national park. What could possibly be so dangerous about them that there uncontrollable.

That is rather interesting, it does seem a little odd that a family with the same surname turn up out of the blew before a child goes missing, I mean it probably was nothing but still it's rather strange.

The case is quite fascinating, I would love to know what really happened to the poor child.
