I'm always a bit dubious about the ' politically correct' as you never know whether they are their true feelings or whether they are going with the crowd, trying to fit in with what they believe to be the majority view.

I'm always dubious about those who use the term 'politically correct' as it is always applied to describe issues legislated for which certain groups don't agree with, the rest is simply referred to as 'the law' and it is to be rigidly adhered to.
