Omg imagine, giving Glenda a rich, yet mysterious villain of a husband and buying the Masood house, chucking the Kazemi's out into a flat and having a cat fight with Carmel.
Glenda does it in an effort to be closer to her daughters who re-open R&R together. A new era. </3 |

I'm all here for a new producer tidying things up and wanting to ground things a bit more so that big dramatic moments have more impact but it shouldn't be DULL with lifeless characters.

Ok, Glenda was a twat to Shirley the last time they saw each other but, really? Is that how Shirley would act after R&R's deaths? She was quite pally with them for a time and doesn't even seem bothered.
But then she struggled to give a sh*t when Peggy died so... |

What the hell has happened to some storylines like Steven embezzling money out of the restaurant?

It's what baffles me. The backstory and development of Ronnie, Roxy and Glenda is complex as hell yet the unimaginative production staff couldn't think of anything to do with them? That's not a good sign for a show that runs 4 episodes a week all year round.
