Speidi don't really care that much.The public dislisked many people and they haven't done much so that doesn't mean much, Speidi are still popular. they are not nasty and they don't set out to hurt people, they just want to make things interesting.

Agreed. He clearly had a plan to be the white knight "against Speidi" but he completely jumped the gun and kicked off hard about the water thing... when literally no one else gave a **** that they took it, so just ignored his ranting and he ended up looking ridiculous. And now he can't really keep at them because it would be an obvious vendetta. For his plan to work at all he would have had to wait for them to do something that was actively pissing off other housemates.
