There's a time and a place to rant about your political views, an awards ceremony to celebrate entertainment isn't the time.

Meryl Streep, who's lived her life staying in the best hotels in the World, dines at the finest restaurants in the World, all for free mind. Has people working for her, doing her cooking and cleaning and sorting her taxes for her.

Why does she think her political opinion should be shared with the people who just tuned in to watch an awards show?

She and other Hollywood monsters are so far away from the real World.

There's a time and a place for jokes but that didn't stop one being elected President.

Award shows often become political, it's always the people who are opposed to what is being said that object and they object by acting like it isn''t the time or place for politics.

Again, Trump considered £1million dollars to be a 'small loan' so why should he pretend to speak for the people when he has no idea what life is like for anybody without an inheritance? Seems a bit off to be down with Trump but take exception to Meryl Streep.

I would mention that you could say exactly the same thing about Trump (who's just been elected as the "anti-establishment voice of the people" which, don't make me laugh) but I can't, because he doesn't pay his taxes in the first place
