In BB13 they didn't officially confirm it was a double when Scott and Ashleigh went, I think its happened before in semis and stuff, it could be one of the newbies go home or theres some sort of twist where the newbies evict someone?

Well the Ashleigh/Scott eviction was announced beforehand and I can't find as much information on the one you're talking about but this makes it sounds like people also knew it was going to be a double :

No there they are talking about a different eviction, the one of spiral and michael,

this was a few weeks later.
