No doubt I would've dragged her away to calm down, she seems a very angry woman and her use of the word was maybe used once and seeing she got a reaction she went further to annoy him.
It was a rant, it was offensive but do I think she should face jail? No.

Her losing her friends and the backlash within her community will be punishment enough, his comments surrounded by his books were not necessary, there are bigger issues than this faced by African Americans.

The use of his insult 'cracker' was questioned and the reasoning behind it was it is also an historically offensive term.. so where is the high ground?
