I haven't enquired how much you have got to spend, but if money isn't too much of a problem and she likes musicals, how about tickets for a show in London or one of the provinces if London is too far to go and finish off with a night in a nice hotel. Don't go for the fishing rod, unless you know she would like to take up fishing again.

I should have read this before I started going on about tickets for musicals etc.,50 quid is not enough for that. Okay how about a dvd of a musical that she hasn't got, a box of good chocs and a bottle of wine and use the rest on flowers.

What about a star ronaldrodgers, you can get a star named after her with the documents of authentication with it and a map of where it is,I had one off my husband a couple of years back,it's just a thought and something a bit different.
