Yes, because that's my opinion and it's nothing like telling me my opinion is 'factually incorrect', if you want to support them and say they're lovely people then crack on, I'm not going to tell you you're wrong, I'll just say I disagree and that they want people to see them as the victims, that's not belittling, that just me stating an opinion.

Telling me I'm 'factually incorrect' is just completely dismissing my opinion whatsoever, something that I don't take very kindly to, which I doubt anyone would.

It's not my fault you're wrong.

In what universe is saying that fans of particular housemates are "falling for a victim routine" anything other than dismissing their opinion and saying that they're wrong in how they're perceiving what's happening? That's exactly what it is.

But am I telling you that you're wrong? no, if I think that a large section of their fans have fallen for an act, that's not belittling, people can like housemates for whatever reason they want to, if they want to support them because they think they're being picked on then good for them, just because I think some people are supporting housemates for the wrong reasons, doesn't equate to me thinking they're wrong for supporting them, I respect everyone's opinions equally, whether I agree with them or not, all I'd like is for people to show the same decency for me and my opinion, is that wrong?

Well as one of the people it was presumably aimed at, I can tell you it was indeed belittling. If you can't see how that was insulting at all then I suppose we'll never reach a common ground on this issue.

Of course you're not wrong for wanting your opinion to be respected and accepted as perfectly valid, I just don't think you've been faultless in that regard either.
