That's one way of looking at it Out of those finalists, if one of them had to pip them to the post apart from Kim, then Coleen was the best of the rest of a bad bunch I suppose, so that softens the blow a bit for Jedward making runners up.

Jedward didn't win, but I felt they deserved to for their openness, reality (which is not the games/fun they did, but other stuff, in which they were so real and vulnerable), and yet wasn't keen on them before but liked Coleen - so, there ya go.
