It's hard to gain perspective on what is dramatised in these kinds of programmes. I can't believe it was produced with Shannon not knowing too.

Yeah, from the things I was reading that was when the police started to suspect something was wrong and the step dad was always on his computer. Karen's friends had some imput on the script as well

yeah the one of the left and on the right is Natalie Brown who Sian Brooke plays who was more suspicious of Karen, which you will see throughout the first episode.

Unfortunately, yes. And the little details like them spotting the lies about sitting having breakfast around the table and stuff.
