The two I can think of:

I enjoyed Terminator Salvation and I thought Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull was great fun.

I thought Salvation was a decent enough Sci-Fi flick - certainly moreso than Terminator 3 or the newest one - but not a particularly good Terminator film compared to the first two. Still waiting for a good sequel on that front .

Crystal Skull though. Come on. Just... it's barely watchable...

I thought the fridge scene that everyone said was ridiculous was really funny.

With Terminator it shows that what you can do with these franchises (eg. Alien, Predator, Jurassic Park, even Star Wars) story-wise is actually quite limited. With Terminator it has to be a robot sent back to our time to kill someone. And when you deviate from that it doesn't really work. It's as much to do with audiences expectations also.
